Bart Gets Famous · Season 5, Episode 12
In Bart Gets Famous, Edna Krabappel calls Homer after Bart disappears from a school field trip. Homer rushes to the telephone wearing a towel around his waist and offers it as a reason she should speak louder. The joke is his confident use of an explanation that has nothing to do with hearing.
