“It’s called chemistry. I have it with everybody.”

Annie and Abed challenge Jeff's denial of specific romantic tension. Jeff claims chemistry with everybody to explain away the looks and glances. Shirley immediately points out that she has not felt any coming her way. Universal swagger is contradicted by a conspicuous exception. A red central mug links to a colorful array across a blue tabletop. The red h of chemistry descends into that network, while a cream mug at the edge remains visibly disconnected. Cream, red and black lettering puts the universal boast above its conspicuous exception.
